The Redskins offense Friday night wasted no time in the first half scoring on 4 of their first 5 drives of the night. Oneonta defeated Cherokee County 49-21. David Hall kicked it off with his first of three total touchdowns with 4:58 left in the first quarter as he scored from 5 yards out. Hall's second touchdown of the night came early second quarter as Brody Pinyan quickly tossed a pass to him from 11 yards out. David Hall would then pick up his 3rd touchdown with 9:45 left in the third quarter as he scored from 66 yards out. Brody Pinyan had his best night of the year throwing for 155 yards 3 touchdowns on 9 of 12 passing. Luke Hodge caught a touchdown pass of 12 yards while Eli Buse had the longest touchdown of the night with a 70 yard grab.
The Redskin defense remained stout for most the night only giving up 285 total yards. 121 rushing and 164 passing. Wil Robertson led the team with 9 tackles. Collin Moon picked up 8 tackles. Marquis Mitchell had 6 tackles with 2 of them being tackles for loss.
The Redskins will travel to Jacksonville this Friday night for a huge matchup to decide who will be first in the region.
